Freeman Army Airfield Museum

Museum Library

The museum has an interesting collection of books about WW-II in categories such as:

* Aircraft
* Biographies
* Encyclopedias
* Photo albums (from pilots who served in the war)
* Coffee table picture books
* Technical manuals
* Fiction
* About 100 Life magazines from the war years

In early 2018 we cataloged all these books (about 300 books, plus the magazines) into a library management program. You can look at the listing online at to see what we have. Most of these books are available to borrow, or you can sit in our reading area and enjoy them right there. We have a scanner where you can copy certain pages you might need. The museum has WiFi throughout, and there is a computer in the library room that you can use.

Just one more reason to visit the Freeman Army Airfield Museum.
